We visited the museum when we were in DC last summer - it was very sobering to say the least...

Very moving indeed. The theme for this year's Holocaust Day in Israel was the children. My own son was told by his teacher to watch the ceremony, and insisted on watching hours of testimony from survivors who described the unspeakable horrors and loss they went through as children. He lost a lot of innocence that week.
