Flash 55 for Friday

I don't want to say blog-hanging out with Thom is influencing me, but . . . the story fit perfectly.  So here goes:

“We only have pink casts today,” the football player sized med tech
teased the young injured skate boarder.

“Why does he get black?” the kid asked, gesturing to an older teen being wrapped with a cast.

Not missing a beat, the tech answered, “FOOTBALL injury.”

The skate boarder walked out wearing a bright pink cast.

Anybody can wear black... it takes a REAL man to wear pink.

Ahhh, my daughter had that exact color cast this past spring!

Hopefully the skater guy got out his black sharpie to turn his in to a FOOTBALL cast? :) Or maybe was manly enough not to care?!

Fun 55!!

LOL...too funny. Yeah you've been hanging around too long LOL :) It's funny that the casts are now color coded. Great 55. Have a wonderful weekend :)

Football discrimination. Who knew?

Just so you all know, the boarder looked about 9 years old and half the size of my son (the football injury). The med tech was a huge African American guy with a huge heart but I'm not sure the kid knew that!

And my son chose black so no one WOULD write on it!

I have a white pen. Send your son over here. I think the boy in the pink cast either has good self-esteem or a handy supply of model paints.
