Linda, at 2nd Cup of Coffee, posted this and it is awesome. To think of Hungary's history of oppression of Christianity and freedom of expression under the Communist years, this is amazing to see. Look closely at some of the dancers, and many of the watchers. They're old enough to have grown up being told God is dead.
The church has been oin the news and the 700 Club -- but nothing was said about this video. And, since the 700 Club stuff was in Hungarian -- the national language -- and had to be translated, I am really wondering about this music. Also, the few dancers who sang weren't singing what I was hearing. Then there's the art festival ad on the big LCD screen behind them and the waving of the National flag.
My friend's husband is Hungarian and is fluent in both. She asked him and he said the translation is the same in Hungarian and English. Now, if that is not what they were ACTUALLY singing and dancing to, it's a different story, but I can't imagine they were doing something duplicitous.

I really want this to be true, but ...
