Fall Done Fell!

I just wanted to give you a look at the leaves before they were all gone. It's been a brief color season because of the intense rain we've had. But today was just sunny enough to take photos.

This is our house and you can see why I talk
about being 'in the woods'...
The white roof is eco-friendly because
it is so reflective, but I'm still
getting used to it myself.
And while the leaves are very pretty now,
I find them less pretty when we're raking them.
Sigh.

Actually, I understand that if everybody would do the white roof thing (a moderately cheap change) it would go a long way toward alleviating climate change.

Your fall looks lovely. Ours is 84% and 66% humidity sans trade winds. Can you say "sweat"?

That's a gorgeous house. I love it. And I think the white roof fits very well myself. Tell me about raking...Sure are pretty photos :)

Thanks to both of you! We do love this house. It really fits us in both personality and spaciousness.

It's really a miracle how we got this house, but that will wait for another blog day.
