Microfiction Monday

Microfiction Monday is when Susan from Stony River gives us an illustration, and challenges us to write a story in 140 characters or fewer. Why 140? Think tweets...

Well, I don't tweet, but I play this meme because it's short and fun and the people who play are the brightest stars in my blogosphere.  SO come on, try it!

Here's this week's photo:

They had the same goal.
One would end up married with 8 kids.
The other would be the eternal party girl.
Who achieved the goal?

A very good question :-)

Ooo. . .I liked the way it was left open at the end with a question! Loved it.

p.s. I’m running a competition this week and holding a blogfest in November. If you get time, pop along and have a look.

Oooh that's a good one!

Great take on the picture.
I think the lady on the right is the party girl cause the lady on the left looks like she has a hat pin and isn't afraid to use it.

I love my dentist too, just not when I'm sitting in his chair.
I always feel great when the appointment is over and not work has to be done.

Clearly the one wearing white gloves when it was cold enough outside to have a coat on threw out all conformity and lived the life of a party girl who didn't care what people thought of her LOL

It's got to be the one with the white gloves no? Excellent my friend :)

Let me guess Olivia Walton and the Sister they never talked about.

Who says either of them did?

Leaving high school I wanted to be a famous novelist; Sue wanted to be a cop and vowed to never marry or have children; Ann wanted to be a famous photographer; & Mary wanted to drive race cars.

Who indeed! Thanks for this one...makes a person think about life, doesn't it? I wonder which girl was happier?
Have a great week. Cheers!

Sylvia wins the rubber chicken! The goal was to be happy! And we all find happiness in our own way!

They both did since they changed places regularly.

Doris on the left became the party girl. She looks like an unhappy girl, so she'd be the one constantly seeking fun and excitement to fill her empty life.

Good one!

Thank You for the Rubber Chicken Award! I DO love awards and I DO love rubber chickens, so now I will do my 'dance of joy'!

I agree with BeccA'sBuzz the one with the white gloves out of season! Didn't care what anyone thought and lived life as she wanted to! :)

What if they achieved the wrong goal? Nice one.

LOL! I think the one with the strange symbol on her coat needs to be the party girl :)

Sorry I'm late commenting. The week is getting away from me!

I'm a believer of going against type, so I'll say I think the one on the right will get married with 8 children! the other one: party on!

Great MM--and enjoy the rest of the week.

That's a great one, I love it, and I totally got it before even reading the comments -- we all have different ways to reach happiness! (although, 8 kids sounds like some kind of eternal party to me... LOL)
