Microfiction Monday

The talented and lovely Susan promises she'll visit this week so I must make my Microfiction Monday worth reading! So, 140 characters, including all spaces and punctuation, riffing off the illustration she provides...

The sign seemed backward.
The teen boys thought
that their great belpres
were what got them to Coolville.

*I'll be late visiting - gotta go help with the teachers' back to school breakfasts at both schools.  I will visit this afternoon though!

By the way, I think there may be problems with your link.

Hi,

Good one for this MM -- totally teen boy for you!

(Just to let you know, your link @ Susan's linkes straight back to Susan's website. Hope you can fix it!)

Have a great week.

Sounds just like my boys. So sure they control the world. And can fix anything.

Have fun with Susan. We had a great visit yesterday.

Maybe the boys ought to learn the difference between person, place or thing, but then they'd be too smart and we all know smart people rarely make it to cool.

I'm not sure what their great belpres are, but this certainly did make me laugh!

Hilarious!

Hmmm? Teenage boys do have some odd ideas of what makes you cool.

Oh what a good one! And I'm so sorry I missed it all week (it's taking me a whole week to visit everyone -- sheesh it never ever ends, the paperwork and red tape!) I packed one kid off to college but it's not helping...LOL

Good one, Mom! I think it is backwards too. I'm sure their belpres were great.
Yes, and I was stupid and quit after I got Susan's blog instead. Really I was confused and forgot to return. Please don't hold that against me. :)
