Mid Storm Photos

The wrens have been very busy with the suet.

Icicles out our picture window

The driveway's clear now - up for a game?

This would be really beautiful if it wasn't a re-run. You can only watch the oldies but goodies so many times before boredom takes over. The wind-chill today is wicked.

The school system just caved and closed through Friday. There goes spring break!

And a soundless video (you're not missing much, Susan). You've lived this in WV, I'm sure!

I've taken a few pictures out my windows too. Too blustery for me today to get out there.

Wow -- it's pretty but I wouldn't want to have to go out in it!

I've never been through a WV winter, only summer! I have a feeling now that I'm going to hate it ROFL

that icicle picture is awesome!! so sorry Spring Break might not be a reality this year, its hard to build snow days into the school calendar I would imagine

when we lived in Santa Fe New Mexico and had a bird feeder in our backyard, I always noticed before a big snowstorm the birds would feed at it crazily; wonder if the wrens are doing the same?

I love the basketball net photo!
And I confess, as much as I love snow and winter, I am official tired of it now. *sigh*
My husband commuted to work on the train Tuesday, as usual. It normally takes 2 hours each way -- it took him 3.5 hours to get to work and another 6 to get home. He had supper at 11pm.
The train isn't running tomorrow (too much snow) so he is driving in at 4:30am so he can find a parking spot.

I'm sorry your district might be taking away spring break. Ours is sticking to schedule, thanks to working in enough hours in advance to cover 15 days of bad weather, but my older boys are worried about learning enough in their AP classes before exams.
