The Prompt:
Emma fiercely concentrated on the water, listening to a tiny voice from within. “Mum,” she said, “I must go outside.”

Oh yes, children hate to be confined by windows, don't they?
My middle son was always drawn to any water -- that's probably what he would have been thinking, too!
My kids heard those tiny voices all the time.
Have a good evening.
And they can concentrate that hard, that's for sure -- well, when they want to that is!! Great one for the day! Hope you have a great week!

This is great. You can so picture this happening. Well done :)
Well, her mum's voice is probably going to respond with a resounding, NO!" Most mother's just don't appreciate their child's need to commune with the rain.
The call of the wild and outdoors....or magic? First timer here, hope you'll stop by The Cafe for mine.
Oh no Emma! 'Come away O human child, To the waters and the wild' -- did you know that I live not so far from Yeats' grave? Now I'll have that poem in my head all night LOL
kids are wiser than the adults give them credit for... how intriguing!
I hope Mom will not let her out, I don't think those voices are Good Voices.
I hear a mother mouthing "No!" before her child can ask. :)
Nice job.
Now, I can really relate to mom.
My youngest almost drown.
