Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Jenn from You Know . . . That Blog? is the most gracious host of this meme. I'm grateful for her hosting AND for her honesty on her blog regarding her recent PRK surgery. I had been musing whether this was a road I should explore, not being a good candidate for Lasik, so I appreciate the input.

So, Haiku is a form of poetry in which the number of syllables per line is proscribed, 5-7-5.  The theme for this week is Chrysalis.  If you'd like to join in, just count the syllables on your fingers, put it on your blog, then link to Jenn. It's that simple!

That's a lovely one today, a real keeper -- the last line is wonderful!

I like the way you think! I went a similar vein but got all "wordy". Yours is beautiful in its brevity! Very, very, nicely done!

We could all do with a prtective cover from time to time.

I love the last line too, exciting and joyful!

You know, I feel a bit bad if my post really turned you off PRK - your experience might not mirror my own. You could also explore different pain relief options... I just wasn't as prepared as feel I should have been. Every day is a step in the right direction, and my vision is improving daily. Not wearing glasses anymore is truly amazing. If you want to chat more about it, I suggest giving me another week to get past it, and then dropping me an email so we can talk "frankly" about it. I'm definitely in my "Chrysalis" stage right now.

Lovely haiku, getting back to the subject ;)

Have a fabulous day!
